      Would have been an interesting story but I couldn’t get over the repeated references to Africa as if it were a single entity or culture, describing the people and customs as “natives,” and the generally one-dimensional and often stereotypical depiction of Africa and African characters.

      This book was more fun than I anticipated ~ maybe one of the best romantic adventure romps I’ve encountered in a long time. Great characters, believable emotional change, fun location, steamy romance, decent action-adventure. Really looking forward to the next two stand-alone installments.

      This was a great story and a very enjoyable read. I loved all the characters including the animals. The book contained all of the range of emotions from a little revenge, laugh out loud humor, multiple love interests, danger and so much more! The narrator was ok but reading all the male parts with several different accents was sometimes hard to follow and she didn't have a very male sounding voice in any of them. I will definitely be checking out other stories by this author. To the author, thank you for the wonderful 2 day escape, yes, it was that good!

      Loved the hero in this book! It was all so good. The romance intertwined with danger and action/adventure. A thrill a minute ride with everything wrapped up perfectly by the end!
