I published two poetry books. One of them was released with Fulton Books (New York) on April 30, 2015. The other book is right here on Smashwords.
My first book of poetry is called "Dancing with an Alien and Other Poems", and it is available as an E-book (see link). There is no particular theme to that book. It contains a mixture of themes; I wrote whatever entered my head: a poem about a man who found out his girlfriend is an alien, a poem about King Kull (actually, it's an 'ode'), a poem about a cat lover, a poem about a homeless woman, a poem about a person who thinks the earth might be flat, and at least a half dozen other poems. You know who King Kull is, right? He was the hero who existed before Robert E. Howard developed Conan the Barbarian. 'Ode to King Kull' is a tribute to Robert E. Howard, creator of the "Conan the Barbarian" book. After you read that book you'll realize I weaved the "reptilian" or "shapeshifter" theme into some of those poems. I'm also weaving that theme into a fiction book I'm currently working on.
"Dancing with an Alien" is the title poem and it is about a more sophisticated but malevolent alien who morphs into a beautiful woman. Some people think there are real beings in the world morphing as people and they are trying to take over our world.
My second book of poetry was published in October, 2015. It is called "SandBox Karma". The poems in that book are basically about bad things happening to people. It's kind of a truthful book about the changing landscape of America. I also use irony and humor.
Thanks for checking out my bio.
