professional experience in renewable energy: in the field of solar photovoltaic (PV) power systems, wind power
generation and others. He started his solar career in Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA),
installing India’s first 25 Kwp solar PV diesel hybrid system, PV wind hybrid system, 1.1 MW wind farm from 1984 to
1990. Rabindra Kumar Satpathy served as a key member of the management team in Tata BP Solar, Bangalore from
1990 to 2002 and was instrumental in setting up India’s first 5MW project in Rajasthan and 1 MW Rooftop project for
Thyagaraj Sports Complex in New Delhi as President of Reliance Industries Limited-Solar Group between 2007 and
2013. He was also involved in establishing solar modules and cell factories as well as planning for large manufacturing
facilities from polysilicon to systems.view less
