Some of her works were published in “The Arlington Review” in 1964 and 1965 (Diana Brodhead) and in “Leanin’ on the Fencepost” in 2008 (Diana Cawthorn). The gap was due to a twenty-five-year busy career as a registered nurse. During that period, in her part-time business, Morningstar Productions, she wrote specialized poems for individuals’ birthdays, retirements, and other special occasions, printed in frameable formats for keepsakes. She retired from nursing in 2010 to care for her ailing husband, Fred. Her songs and poems stacked up, collecting dust over the years. After the death of her husband in 2012, the Lord instructed her to share her works to teach positive values to young minds, which are bombarded with negative and unclean thoughts in today’s world. Hopefully, these works will be a legacy to her amazing children and grandchildren as well as good “soul food” for youth all over the world. Her motto is “Without God, I can do nothing.”
Currently, Margaret lives in Dallas, Texas, trying to adjust to widowhood and keep abreast of the rapidly changing technology in order to share some of her works with children then perhaps publish a book of poetry. She also edits manuscripts for two authors, who (undoubtedly) will have dynamic, best-selling books in the near future.view less
