She's had a rich and eventful life, born into a family of Ethiopian diplomats during the days of the Ethiopian Empire, she lived in many different countries, thriving on immersing herself in a variety of cultures and mindsets. But the wheels of history are unpredictable, and she became a refugee at the age of 17. From her father she learned how to stick to her values and work hard, from her artist mother she got passion and a dash of impulsivity. These are the pillars of her unfailing resilience, which enabled her to overcome difficulties and build a successful life and career. Her professional experience spans different industries, the arts, business, academia and international development as an HR leader in a UN agency, and a consultant in many others. The common thread in all her activities is to help people live more fulfilling lives at work and at home by teaching them a transformational leadership skill, coaching! This skill solves many of the problems we see today at work from stress, to bad relations, shaky performance and ineffective management. She is a facilitator of international events for leadership development and a TEDx speaker.
