The vintage clothes enthusiast, biographer of masters of mystery, and amateur sleuth who has flourished her skills in Christietown and I Dreamed I Married Perry Mason now tackles a murderous puzzle full of twists, turns, and mistaken identities worthy of maestro Hitchcock himself. Readers will be Spellbound by this latest investigation by sometime-detective Cece, whom reviewers have called, “Delightful” (Boston Globe) and “A hoot” (Denver Rocky Mountain News). True mystery fans would have to be Psycho to miss Dial H For Hitchcock.

I loved this book!! Laugh-out-loud funny, I had to force myself to turn the light off in the wee hours of the morning in order to get a few hours of sleep before dawn. I kept wanting to see what was going to happen! The mystery had me puzzled all the way along and I was as paranoid and suspicious of everyone as the main character - I love it when I can't figure out who the killer is (so many mysteries these days, especially cozies, are so obvious). Cece Caruso is a fun, intelligent and klutzy character and neurotic enough to feel real. And I enjoyed all the trivia and analysis of Hitchcock and his movies, and the way Susan Kandel would relate them to the plot and what was happening to Cece. I would highly recommend this book to all cozy mystery fans, especially those who are fans of Hitchcock and old Hollywood.
