I. Why Micro-publish? Reasons For Established Authors
Do not skip this section if you are not already traditionally published. Any writer can learn a few things about traditional publishing by reading this section. Forewarned is forearmed and the ideas outlined here can never be covered enough.
Naturally, published authors have advantages over unpublished writers when it comes to micro-publishing. Published authors already know they can complete a book-length manuscript under a deadline; therefore a micro-pub that is one-fourth to one-third of a traditional book’s length is a pretty manageable alternative.
But traditionally published authors may have to overcome their initial resistance to the idea of micro-publishing in order to take action on the concept in the short run.
