      This book was not my cup of tea. I stopped reading at about page 50. I found it very slow moving with too much emphasis on minute details that weren't necessary for plot or character building. Yes I wanted to know what was in that darn box, but not badly enough for me to finish reading it.I received a complimentary copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

      Because I've read another book from the same author (Flying Lessons), I was prepared to read between the lines. Even if there is a paranormal/sci-fi component, during the road-trip from California to Florida, Indira, Eve and Koji put their masks down and open up to their friends and respective families. How much are you ready to share with the others? Do they have to know everything about you, your beliefs, disillusions, hopes? I'm not sure myself. This may be the reason why I loved this book. And the ending is suitable for me, since it's open-ended.Disclaimer: I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review. These are my personal opinions stated in this review.
