About this ebook
Sometimes as photographers it's difficult to find inspiration and ideas. So I put this short eBook together and came up with ten projects to spark your imagination. There's nothing technical here; just some good advice and beautiful images that should encourage you to go out and try some new things.

The Creative Image - Andrew S Gibson
Introduction
There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs.
– Ansel Adams
Largely thanks to digital cameras, photography has experienced a resurgence in popularity over the last decade or so. Back in the film era, only ‘serious’ photographers were able to produce their own prints, normally in black and white. It wasn’t easy – you had to set up your own chemical darkroom, which took time, money and space. You had to be pretty sure you were going to make use of it to undertake the effort. Some of them also teach what they know about photography by writing articles, blogs and eBooks. Photography is still as challenging as ever to master. The basic building blocks of any good photograph – composition, quality of light and treatment of subject – are still the same. Digital
