    INTRODUCTION

    Firstly, thank you for taking the time to purchase this edition of 101 tips to get WORSE at Call of Duty: Zombies. Your support is appreciated and we hope that you enjoy reading the tips contained in this book.

    This book has been written for all Call of Duty fans across the globe, to add a bit of fun to the usual strategy guides and by steering clear of these tips, you may find that your game-play improves over time.

    GENERAL TIPS

    TIP - STAB THE ZOMBIES IN THE EARLY ROUNDS

    The Zombies in the early rounds are slow and particularly weak - they will die from a swift slash of your blade (or two). If you stab the early round zombies, you will save on ammo, and get the highest scoring kill points.

    OR, HOW ABOUT

    If you let off a few rounds into the Zombie before stabbing it, you will gain extra points (cash to be spent on guns, mystery box etc.). The number of shots each Zombie can take before dying increases as the rounds increase, so be careful how long you employ this particular shot, shot, stab strategy. The following is the points that are given in the Call of Duty: Zombies games:

    Non-lethal hit (10 points).

    Lethal torso hit (60 points).

    Lethal limb hit: (50 points).

    Lethal neck hit: (70 points).

    Lethal headshot: (100 points).

    Lethal melee: (130 points).

    Lethal grenade: (50 points).

    Non-lethal grenade: (10 points).

    Melee to a monkey*: (500 points)

    *before it hits the player or takes the power-up

    Therefore if you just knife the zombie without shooting it first, you will miss out on additional points per Zombie (for example – the round 1 Zombies take 6 body shots before dying).

    TIP - SHOOT EACH ZOMBIE RANDOMLY

    As the Zombies start to break through into the playing arena, they will come at you from random directions, shoot them each one by one, and you will get points for each shot (usually +10).

    OR, HOW ABOUT

    If you let the Zombies bunch up in a line (one behind the other), when you fire a shot, it will score for hitting the first Zombie (+10) and the bullet will go through the first Zombie and credit a hit on the Zombie(s) behind it as well. This will help you maximise the points from each bullet fired.

    Lining the Zombies up takes a bit of time to get used to in the early rounds – but the additional points can pay off and help you get into the better areas of the map.

    TIP - DO NOT LET THE ZOMBIES INTO THE PLAYING ARENA

    Each map usually starts with you in a playing arena with Zombies breaking in through barriers. Do NOT let them in - they’re trying to kill you.

    OR, HOW ABOUT

    If you let the Zombies into the playing arena, they will sometimes drop power-ups (such as Insta kill, max ammo, 2x bonus, carpenter, and nuke). These are very useful, particularly in the early rounds since they will save you having to buy a gun and you can attempt to survive longer on the shot, shot, stab strategy and save your points for the better guns and the perks.

    To understand the power-ups please see the section below on power-ups which contains some power up specific tips.

    TIP - BUY A NEW GUN STRAIGHT AWAY

    You start each Zombie game with 500 points, and the guns on the wall cost 500 points, problem and a solution right there… Buy a new gun and use it straight away. The pistol isn’t as powerful and these guns are sitting waiting to be unleashed on the Zombies.

    OR, HOW ABOUT

    Try and survive as long as possible with the shot, shot stab strategy. Deciding the right time to buy another weapon depends on how comfortable you feel with the shot-stab strategy. This will vary depending upon your skill with the pistol, and the size of the initial playing area you are working within.
