    Hayden always had a thing for one of his college instructors. To him, Karen Fae is a mixture of beauty and intellect -- all that he could ever want in a woman. Only, the thought of being with her seemed a fantasy. He's a younger undergraduate, and she's a teacher. One night, however, he sees her reading erotica novels in the campus library. Before he can realize what is happening, his deepest desire may come ture.

    Excerpt:

    “Awesome!” She grabbed my hand and nearly dragged me over to her cubicle and her stack of romance novels. She pulled over a chair and had me sit. Then, she sat down, too. Only, one of her knees not only touched mine, but was between my legs. I tried not to “read” into that, but it did seem that these glancing touches were becoming more than mere accidents. She picked up her well-tabbed copy of The Professor’s Horny Undergraduate. “Okay. I’m going to start reading some excerpts to you, and I need to respond to them. Please tell me how the language makes you feel, from uncomfortable to silly and so on. Got me?”

    “Yes.”

    She flipped to a page squinted her eyes, and read, “Billy said to her, ‘But Dr. Loveworth, you’re my professor. We can’t do this!’ Yet, he breathed heavy and looked at her with wanton lust.”

    “Um, interesting,” I said.

    “Does it make you uncomfortable?”

    Her knee touched mine again. “No,” I said.

    She scanned down the page. “Don’t call me Dr. Loveworth! My name is Candy! And I have needs!”

    I laughed, hard. “Wait. Wait a second. The character’s name is Dr. Candy Loveworth?”

    She grinned wickedly. “Yes. A masterwork of American fiction, this is NOT.” She glanced at the pile of paperbacks. “Not all of them are this bad, though.” She flipped over the page, and began to read again. “I’ve noticed how you’ve looked at me during class and every time we pass each other on campus. Don’t deny that you feel something for me.”

    Something caught in my throat ...
