About this ebook

ABOUT WORK FROM HOME IN THE UK

This book aims to focus on ways you can work from home using only the Internet. My inspiration to write this book came from the years I spent trying to find work from home opportunities online. I spent around four years working through scams, low paid positions and other issues. Trying to find something that would give me a consistent income took a lot of time and the time I wasted could have been avoided, had I known where and how to look for work.

Many people have become unemployed in recent years, and have subsequently found battling through thousands of other candidates in order to find a job impossible. This book details a variety of jobs that anyone can do and by the end of it, you will hopefully never be out of work again.

EXTRACT FROM THE BOOK

Everybody knows a lot about something, and one of the best ways to translate your knowledge, passion, skill or qualification into money is to give advice online. Millions of people search the Internet every day for answers to their questions, but as more web users become savvy, they are trusting the wonderful world of forums and Yahoo answers less and less.

This is where live advice websites come in. Not only can web users ask questions from the convenience of their own home, they can receive an answer to their question that comes from a qualified source. Having to pay a price in order to gain advice is not an issue for most people, as they are still saving money when they compare online prices with what an expert would charge on a face-to-face basis.

As a history lover, mother, entrepreneur, and medical student, I have become fascinated by history's most fascinating female figures. I write short historical biographies on the women that history has depicted in a poor light, and many other topics that interest me.

Introduction: What to Look Out For

This book aims to focus on ways you can work from home using only the Internet. My inspiration to write this book came from the years I spent trying to find work from home opportunities online. I spent around four years working through scams, low paid positions and other issues. Trying to find something that would give me a consistent income took a lot of time and the time I wasted could have been avoided, had I known where and how to look for work.

Many people have become unemployed in recent years, and have subsequently found battling through thousands of other candidates in order to find a job impossible. This book details a variety of jobs that anyone can do and by the end of it, you will hopefully never be out of work again. All of the jobs featured in this book are current as of 2012, and it is vital that you register as being self employed for tax purposes.

Unfortunately, even though working from home is ideal, there are still pitfalls. The majority of these pitfalls come in the form of scam artists looking to take away your hard earned cash, but there is also the worry of finding something consistent and managing your time. Trying to find a balance as a work at home mum can be hard, and as such, there is a need to look out for a few things.

    Scam Artists

For every legitimate work from home job, there will be at least a hundred that are not worth your time or effort. There are many people out there who will wilfully take your money away from you, promising that you will receive work in return. It is very rarely the case that a work from home position will require an upfront payment and it is easy to spot those positions that are scams.

First, you must look out for unrealistic promises. Any position that states you can make in excess of £300.00 a day by simply posting ads online is a scam. Such positions will
