      Preface

      ---------

      As the author of this ebook, I have had a dilemma as to how to classify it into a category! Most of of my writings here is theory. Some of which are my own, and some are my answer to theories of others. I have included many quotes from both The New Testament and The Old Testament of the Bible.

      Much of the content is documentary, that is, a compilation of interesting facts about The Big Bang and celestial distances. The overall idea of this ebook is certainly not fiction, yet will contain theory so you can decide for yourself as to which category this ebook fits into! Please feel free to contact me with questions, comments, or suggestions.

      Chapter 2

      In The Beginning

      ---------------------

      Religion and politics are the two subjects that cannot be won when debated. Both are personal to each one of us and our beliefs in either one are set in stone and are hard pressed to change.

      In the following writing, I am not attempting to preach or to sway anyone's beliefs, but merely to act as a messenger, passing on to you what wisdom that has been given to me about the existence of mankind and the existence of everything else.

      Please be assured that I will not discuss politics at all in any fashion whatsoever! It is certainly not my intention to cover such a subject which is all vanity under the sun anyway. The only reason that I have mentioned politics at all is to say that like religion, the subject of politics cannot be won when debated. I shall not mention politics again.

      I am writing this ebook from a different angle, that is, without the added comments of a pope, preacher, vicar, evangelist, deacon, or any other words from basic teachings of any religion. So you may ask What makes you think that you are qualified to write this ebook with so much authority? The answer is simple - I don't know!

      Let me share with you here and now what I am as well as what I am not. I am not an expert on any subject. I am not a preacher, even though I have been asked to preach a sermon in a church. I am not a writer, even though I have written many items through the years. I am not a speaker, even though I have been requested to publicly speak at several happenings.

      I have been told that I am a pretty good artist of twenty five years and that is enough to satisfy me at this point in my life!

      Could it perhaps be that we are all born with certain facts stored in our brains, carried forward and constructed by the RNA as per the instructions pre-programed in our DNA from our forefathers, similar to the programs that control our bodily functions?

      Let me further say in this preface, two major statements. First, I cannot say why I am writing these words to you, even though I feel a strong compelling to do so. Second, I want to hold you spellbound to read these words that were for some reason that I can't explain, given to me to pass on to you. In other words, don't give up on me or my writings until you have read them all.

      Now then let's quickly cover the word religion - a much misused term to be sure. According to most encyclopedias, religion is a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of life and the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a supernatural agency, or human beings' relation to that which they regard as holy, sacred, spiritual, or divine. Many religions have narratives, symbols, traditions and sacred histories that are intended to give meaning to life. They tend to derive morality, ethics, religious laws or a preferred lifestyle from their ideas about the cosmos and human nature. The most common mentioned are Catholicism, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Shinto, Sikhism, Bahia, and Jainism.

      I believe that almost everyone has religion of one sort or another, that is, we worship something or someone, often times without even being aware of it. With some, it may be the pursuit of attaining wealth and material possessions, or perhaps fame, while others may simply lust for other worldly entities.

      In some very serious religious arenas, there are those who carry their beliefs to the mountain tops, assuming that theirs is the only one or the only way. Some factions even fight wars in the name of religion and use their beliefs as a basis to kill innocent people, even women and children to prove their vain point.

      There are many, many people on this planet that do not have any idea why they were even born to live and die here. Some do not even think about it, some don't seem to care or worry about it, and still many others spend many agonizing hours contemplating this dilemma.

      I want you to go with me now, travel with me to a very distinct and exact place where it all started. The location is inside the dark, silent void of space. This scenario may seem strange and even a bit scary to us at first, but as our scientific community will confirm, an unusual thing is about to occur at any moment now. Something great and wonderful, beyond our imaginations, will happen before our very eyes - a tremendous flash of light explodes across the void of darkness for the very first time ever! The flash is followed by mega decibels of sound echoing also for the first time across the void of previously-silent space. What is it? When was it? Why was it? What or who caused it?

      A FEW FACTS:

      I see that you are still with me? Let me begin here to relate to you now a scenario that will require you to open your mind and listen with no rules or prejudices, listen to a story from one who has, indeed pondered over the existence of this relatively small planet, orbiting a small star in a galaxy within a universe of which there are believed to be billions more out there as our neighbors.

      The following data will show us some of the discoveries of the universe so far.

      Please note that one light-year is equal to exactly 9,460,730,472,580.8 km, or about 5,878,630,000,000 miles (about 6 trillion miles) and exactly 31,557,600 light-seconds! It is the time that it takes light to travel through space in one

      Year at the speed of 186 thousand miles per second!

      The closest star to our Sun is only 7000 times further than the edge of our own solar system. 250 Light Years from the Sun:

      A large proportion of the stars visible with the naked eye are within 250 light years.
