Money Mentor- Money Management eBook – 2012
By Linda Carol Everett
Nothing hurts a parent’s pride more than having an adult son or daughter complain that you never taught them about money. Now that they are in financial difficulty, the chickens are home to roost. Perhaps they are in over their head on many debts, or even to the sad point of declaring bankruptcy.
No matter how hard things are financially, it is never too late to learn and never too late to start over. Now, adult children have this eBook as a comprehensive reference for answers about all they feel they never were taught about money. There no longer is any excuse to claim you do not understand money, how to use money or how to save money.
Parents should read this eBook and pass it along to their children so they can also learn. Children, you might even want to recommend this eBook to your parents; it is never too late to learn about money and how to use it.
Money, properly earned, saved, invested and used can be a source of financial peace of mind. This is especially important today, as economic worries mount and the future looks dismal for many. It may seem that the old ways no longer work, but actually they still are the best chance for securing a financial future and having peace of mind today. Living debt free is an amazing and worthy goal; only a few accomplish it, but that should be one of the top goals set out on any financial plan for any age person.
Look over the table of contents and find what interests you most. Read that section first, or go through everything step by step. Be sure to read all the information and, by the time you finish this eBook, you should have a firm grasp on knowledge about money and how to use it. Read it all!
Children and young adults – This is the knowledge you need but may not have been taught yet.
Parents – This is the knowledge you should be passing along to your children, and please, use it yourself.
Thomas Tusser (1524 – 3 May 1580) was an English poet and farmer, best known for his instructional poem Five Hundred Points of Good Husbandry, published in 1557. It contains the lines
A foole and his monie be soone at debate,
which after with sorrow repents him too late.
That is an early version of the proverb: A fool and his money are soon parted.
