About this ebook
Channel the power of the full moon to focus your intent and guide your manifestations. Light on lore and heavy on practical ceremony, this book is an ideal reference guide for both novices and experienced practitioners. Each full moon spell contains traditional correspondences, a complete ritual and seasonal recipes. All have been thoroughly researched and designed for today’s busy Neo-Pagans.
Moon worship has been part of our history since the earliest days. The constantly changing cycles of the moon enabled ancient civilizations to plan and chart time. They also discovered that special energies correspond to the different phases of the moon. Today, these connections are being rediscovered as we seek to fulfil our dreams and align ourselves with the universe.
There are 13 full moons per year – one every 29.5 days. These spells, rituals and correspondences are designed to maximize the energy of the different full moons, but they can be used any time. If you feel you do not need the magick of a particular full moon, simply give thanks for that blessing during ritual and proceed to the spell of your choice. However, the power generated will be stronger during the corresponding full moon.
You can use Simple Wiccan Magick Full Moon Spells & Rituals as a stand-alone book, as a companion to my Wheel of the Year guide Simple Wiccan Magick Spells and Ritual Ceremony, or alongside any other Wicca books you may have.

About Simple Wiccan Magick Full Moon Spells & Rituals
Channel the power of the full moon to focus your intent and guide your manifestations. Light on lore and heavy on practical ceremony, this book is an ideal reference guide for both novices and experienced practitioners, working alone or in a group.
Full moons are in the opposite zodiac sign (a full moon in the sun sign Capricorn is actually a Cancer moon), while waxing and waning moons are in the same zodiac sign. To avoid confusion, the following chapters are listed by sun sign dates in the commonly accepted order, starting with Aries.
Each full moon spell contains traditional correspondences, a quick spell and complete ritual plus appropriate seasonal recipes. All have been thoroughly researched and tested and are designed for the busy Neo-Pagan in today’s world.
You can use Full Moon Spells & Rituals as a stand-alone book, as a companion to my Wheel of the Year guide Simple Wiccan Magick Spells & Ritual Ceremony, or alongside any other Wicca books you may have.
These spells, rituals and correspondences are designed to maximize the energy of different full moons, but they can be used any time. If you feel you do not need the magick of a particular full moon, simply give thanks for that blessing during ritual and proceed to the spell of your choice. However, the power generated will be stronger during the corresponding full moon.
This book has been revised to include quick spells and more recipes. Blessed be!

CHAPTER 2 ~FULL MOONS BY MONTH
January’s full moon is known as Wolf Moon, Quiet Moon or Chaste Moon. Flowers associated with this month are carnations and snowdrops; stones are garnet and jet. The sun sign Capricorn, (December 22 – January 20), rules most of January, indicating a full moon in Cancer. After January 20, the sun sign moves to Aquarius and the full moon will be in Leo.
February’s full moon is called Snow Moon, Ice Moon or Wild Moon. February flowers are violets and primroses; stones are amethyst and rock crystal. Sun sign Aquarius, (January 21 – February 19), reigns for most of the month, producing a full moon in Leo. After February 19th, the sun sign Pisces will produce a full moon in Virgo.
The March full moon is called Worm Moon, Storm Moon or Crow Moon. Corresponding flowers are daffodils and jonquils; stones are aquamarine and bloodstone. Pisces, (February 20 – March 20), is the ruling sun sign for most of the month, so a full moon is in Virgo. After March 20th, the sun in Aries creates a full moon in Libra.
The April full moon is known as Pink Moon, Growing Moon or Hare Moon. Corresponding flowers are daisies and sweet peas; stones are diamonds. Sun sign Aries, (March 21 – April 20), is in play for most of the month, placing the full moon in Libra. If the full moon falls after April 20th, sun sign Taurus dictates a Scorpio full moon.
The May full moon is known as Flower Moon or Merry Moon. Corresponding flowers are lily of the valley and foxglove; stones are emerald and amber. Sun sign Taurus, (April 21 – May 21), is in force for most of the month, indicating a full moon in Scorpio. If the full moon occurs after May 21st, it will be in the sun sign Gemini, creating a Sagittarian full moon.
The June full moon is known as Mead Moon, Strawberry Moon, Honey Moon or Rose Moon. Flowers associated with June are roses and lavender; stones are agate and pearls. Sun sign Gemini, (May 22– June 21), is in play for most of the month, creating a full moon in the opposite sign of Sagittarius. If June’s full moon occurs after the 21st, it will be in the sun sign Cancer, with a full moon in Capricorn.
The July full moon is known as Thunder Moon, Shallow Moon or Hay Moon. Corresponding flowers are honeysuckle and jasmine; stones are ruby and moonstone. Sun sign Cancer, (June 22 – July 23), is in force for most of July, putting the full moon in Capricorn. If the full moon falls after July 23rd, the sun in Leo dictates an Aquarian full moon.
August’s full moon is also called Corn Moon, Barley Moon or Sturgeon Moon. Corresponding flowers are gladiolas, poppies and sunflowers; stones are sardonyx, peridot and cat’s eye. Sun sign Leo, (July 24 – August 23), is in play for most of August, so the full moon will be in Aquarius. If the full moon happens after August 23rd, sun sign Virgo produces a Piscean full moon.
September’s full moon is known as Harvest Moon, Wine Moon or Singing Moon. Corresponding flowers are aster and morning glory; stones are blue sapphire and citrine. The sun sign of Virgo, (August 24 – September 23), covers most of the month, producing full moon in Pisces. A full moon after September 23rd will be in the sun sign Libra, creating a full moon in Aries.
The October full moon is called Hunter’s Moon, Falling Leaf Moon or Blood Moon. Flowers associated with October are calendula and marigold; stones are morganite or pink emerald, opals and tourmaline. Sun sign Libra, (September 24 – October 23,) reigns for most of the month, so the full moon is in the opposite sign of Aries. If the full moon falls after October 23rd, sun in Scorpio will produce a Taurus full moon.
