About this ebook
[A 10,000-word short story prequel to the "Year of the Chick" series]
There are two things that happen when you graduate university:
1: You realize you'll be working for the next forty years...a realization that requires alcohol
2. You start to wonder when you're supposed to fall in love
Somewhere in between all of that, you'll find: office friends, office dimwits, good days, bad days, and a Human Resources manager that's out to get you.
You also might find an attractive guy from an office transfer, and that's when things start to get complicated...

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Very funny chick lit book Indian/Canadian style. The author captures so many hilarious moments that anyone who's a landed immigrant's descendant can laugh to and those who are not can laugh along with us. The dilemma of finding a husband is always a great chick lit topic in my book. The heroine captures the heart of any girl hoping to one day meet the right guy. Balancing two cultures can be tricky at times and in this story it shows it with humor, honesty and a lot of heart.
