    Introduction

    My marshmallow-making career started at home in the kitchen making all kinds of different flavoured marshmallows for friends and family. They loved them so much I thought the local farmers’ market would be a great place to really test them out. And I couldn’t believe the reaction!

    There were kids and adults turning from my table and yelling at their friends and family, Marshmallows! She’s selling homemade marshmallows!

    I sold out that Saturday and many Saturdays after. I gained a following and customers would be disappointed when their favourite flavour of marshmallow was sold out.

    Because of the interest and excitement for my homemade marshmallows, I put together recipes and tips for those of you that want to experience the fun of making the delicious treats at home.

    For these recipes I have provided you with a basic marshmallow recipe, the vanilla marshmallow. You can use this basic recipe to make marshmallows of any flavour just by changing or adding a new ingredient. Use your marshmallows as a treat in a delicious cup of hot cocoa, as a fancy desert with a light drizzle of chocolate, and as a definite must for that crackling outback campfire.
