      WELCOME!

      Hello! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ottis Frazer and I’m a donkey foal. My mummy is Jenny and my daddy is Bob.

      I have a human mummy too, her name is Justine. And I have lots of funny looking furry and feathery brothers and sisters too.

      I’d like to share my story with you. Just a warning, I’m no ordinary donkey. I came into this world to a loving family (how lucky am I?), but things could have been very, very different.

      Let me tell you all about me.

      CHAPTER 1

      Mummy was sad. Daddy was sad. They were cold and hungry and their hooves were hurting. No-one came to see them to check if they were okay.
