Preface
It was a dark and stormy night when she was born; she was the daughter of the greatest pirate of the time. Bluebeard was her father; the year was 1389 and the seas were wild with the great raids of the new world. Her father didn’t want her to grow up to become a pirate; alas she would grow up to become the very thing he didn’t want her to be. Her mother was a sea wench and is described as a mermaid. The child born on that dark and stormy night in 1389 was to become the greatest pirate since her daddy; the child was named Julie…

Chapter 1
Julie the Pirate
The seas were choppy that day; the wind blew hard and cold. A man emerged from the gallows; he was tall, dark, and handsome but he had his flaws. He was missing an eye, for which he lost in a sword battle, and he lost a leg during a cannon fight; in the place of the leg was a wooden peg. Captain Bluebeard is his name; he was named bluebeard for the mysterious color of his beard was blue; yet he has black hair. Captain land ho!
A crew member yelled out. Arr me matey we will land there and camp tonight.
Bluebeard said. The ship made landfall for the night; after camp was established Bluebeard ordered his crew to find food, build a fire, and make ready the rum that was stolen from another ship earlier that day. That night as the rum was flowing like a river the captain stood up and said Arr maties we will settle a town here and control a port.
The crewmen all shouted ARR in agreement. The port city of Jameson was built and became the most powerful port in the world. Jameson was protected by the pirates who served Bluebeard; no one dared cross Bluebeard.
A brave soldier from Spain named Cyan Marinero sailed the middle seas into Jameson one night; in his crew was a fair maiden who name is Julia daughter of Cyan. Julia was a young lass and she wanted to settle down with a strong, brave, and bold man; she found those qualities in Bluebeard. She first saw him walking to his ship and fell in love at first sight; Julia! For whence thou lookest upon? Her father asked.
I’m look upon that dashing sailor over yonder…the one with the blue beard. Julia answered.
He’s a scurvy dog that one. Founder of this town he is; but he’s not anything more than a scurvy dog! Cyan said with an authoritative tone. Julia ignored what Cyan said and began to work over to Bluebeard;
Excuse me sir…are ye Bluebeard? She asked. Bluebeard heard the voice of angel then turned to see Julia and answered
I be him…*hiccup* what can I do for ye angel…*hiccup*
I’m Julia Marinero daughter of Cyan nice to meet you sir." Julia said. Bluebeard who was drunk at the time turned away then walked into his quarters for the night. Julia thought how rude but alas she knew he was drunk and decided to try again tomorrow.
The next day Julia awoke before anyone else did in Jameson; she went to the shipyard to wait for Bluebeard. Bluebeard appeared behind her; Good morning Julie Marinero daughter of Cyan…now what did you want to talk about last night?
He asked. Julia jumped after being startled; My lord you startled me…I saw you from afar yesterday and I wanted to meet you.
Julia answered. Bluebeard looked her over a few times then said Are ye a sea wench, mermaid, angel, or all three?
Julia blushed and replied I’m a sea wench and possibly an angel but not a mermaid.
Aye ye is wrong…ye are all three…because you’re the most beautiful creature I’ve seen on the middle seas.
Bluebeard replied.
