About this ebook

The world today is all about Presentations - How you present yourself to people you come across. In the Corporate World how one presents his/ her idea, has become the single most differentiating factor between big, moderate or low success. Making proficient presentations at office, inter-department, presentation to clients, and presentation to a larger audience (public speaking) is Most Important. Manifesting Thoughts techniques are based on the understanding of Subconscious mind's understanding of the Law of Attraction. Effectively using the Law of Attraction to make proficient presentations is what you would learn from the second book of the AshMehta stable.

The human psyche, per se, is very fickle in nature. The biggest hurdles people face in their lives, is the making of their own thinking. One may call it their attitude towards life, or call it circumstances. The fact remains that they live mediocre lives. Attitudes, circumstances, mediocrity are the by-product of one’s own thoughts. Yet, people don’t wish to acknowledge their responsibility towards their thoughts and their circumstances.Responsible living is a product of responsible thinking. Responsible thinking is a way of life. Our thoughts, not only affect us, they affect our near and dear ones as well as our society. The vision of Ashish is to reach out to as many people in the world and make them look inwards and realize this responsibility – the responsibility of proper thinking. There is a phrase – ‘if wishes were horses, beggars would ride them’. Aptly true. Just wishing and imagining do not attract experiences or create magic. To manifest and materialize visions, one needs to understand the science behind manifesting.Backed with 15 years of research, Ashish brings forth the ‘Principles of Manifesting Thoughts’ – intertwining spiritual and metaphysical laws of life; which are simple to understand, yet extremely deep in their bearing. These Principles guide and make people take responsibility towards their own thoughts and actions, in every sphere of life, to ensure proper and responsible living. They help in opening up the vision of seeing things as they are from all angles. They teach discernment.Ashish takes this a step further, by amalgamating the ‘Principles of Manifesting Thoughts’ to various professional activities of life. He writes on various topics about life situations as well as corporate and professional life factors, creating a synergy and a common platform, for permanent concretizing in thoughts and therefore beautiful lives. Once the individual’s personal wavelength is in tandem with these Principles, he or she begins to not only live realized and meaningful personal lives, he or she begins to manifest the same in their professions as well. That is real empowerment and responsible living, which Ashish wishes to concretize in as many people as possible. It is with this vision in mind that Ashish wishes this knowledge to reach across the globe, along with his commitment to be there for guidance to his readers as well as students of his workshops, throughout life.

    Thinking

"If you think you are beaten, you are,

If you think you dare not, you don’t.

If you like to win, but you think you can’t,

It is almost certain you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost,

For out in the world we find,

Success begins with a fellow’s will.

It’s all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are,

You’ve got to think high to rise,

You’ve got to be sure of yourself before

You can ever win a prize.

    Life’s battles don’t always go

To the stronger or faster man.

But soon or late the man who wins,

Is the man who thinks he can."

~ Walter D. Wintle (late 19th and early 20th century)

    Chapter 1

The fear of opening our mouths

How many times have we gone tongue tied when we have risen to speak in front of an audience? Was it fear or was it a natural outcome of our second nature? Were we worried whether we would make a fool of ourselves when we rose to speak? Would we be accepted by the audience? Would they like our personality? Would they accept our points of view on a particular subject? Would they in turn discuss our flaws after the talk?

Would the seniors in office be able to see through us and maybe find that although our personality is acceptable, on the inside we are hollow as per their assessment? Would our presentation prove to be shoddy? Would it be detrimental to our career? Would it affect our appraisal? Would it make us a laughing stock at water cooler gossips?

Too many ‘would this happen?’ or ‘would that happen?’ fear of scenarios, related to public speaking and presentations. Too much of emotional and mental agony created by our own selves and for our own selves. Totally unnecessary. A waste of precious time. A product of our own minds, that’s all. Simply put - If you think you can’t, you actually can’t; but if you think you can, then you can.

These are some thoughts and emotions, a rather large number of us go through, when it comes to public speaking or office presentations. Talking and gossiping with friends or on the phone is fine, but the moment we come to a ‘formal’ speech or presentation or an after dinner thanks speech, that is when this fear fructifies and the above mentioned thoughts flow in, like water from a dam suddenly opened.

Let us understand why it happens at ‘formal’ dos only? For anything ‘formal’ we think, prepare and plan in advance. Hence our brains start working and thinking towards the event. We think, plan, and fill ourselves with thoughts of the same even when doing other things such as while travelling the tube
