He also writes columns for the online magazines Talking Writing and Kotori. As a freelance writer, he has published articles and essays in such publications as The Harvard Business Review, Philadelphia Inquirer, Get Underground, and BioCycle. He was a contributing editor for In Business magazine for over a decade.
