    In the tradition of serial fiction since before the times of Charles Dickens, through the great pulp magazine days of the 1920s, comes "Outrunning Zombies", the first in a series of stories about Dex Reynolds, his wife, and their quest to survive, and perhaps even thrive, in a world gone terribly wrong and populated by zombies and human monsters and the challenge of surving in a world with iffy power supplies, communication problems, difficult transportation, and all the other trappings of society that we take for granted today.

    The first installment introduces us to Dex and his most immediate concern, finding and protecting his ex-wife, in a city and possibly a world gone to hell and back, a human threat to her safety on top of the zombies roaming around.

    The second installment, coming soon, follows Dex as he tries to get him, his wife, and a doctor out of the city as an even greater threat than zombies shows up: a gang of vicious murderers and criminals intent on taking everything that Dex has prepared.

    Who knows what the world will throw at him next?
