    Welcome readers. Life’s Spectrum is exactly that; a journey through life’s pitfalls, celebrations, heartache and fond memories. We will delve into the psyche of soldiers from all countries, lost baseball legends, thoughts of bereavement and the celebration of life.
    There are a variety of poetic styles used: free verse, dialogue, spoon river and others. I hope you enjoy the following compilation.
    I’m also pleased to introduce and include poems from Kathryn Magee, Amanda Larson and Charley Lewis.

    I spent the last twenty-five years in road construction. I enjoyed the business but always wanted to write. When my best friend died in 2001 from a heart attack I put down in print all of the adventures we had shared. His niece put a book together and started it with our stories. I enjoyed the writing but didn't take it seriously as a business. Eight years later I reunited with my high school sweetheart and was allowed to spend the most amazing seven months with the woman I had searched and sought after for thirty years. We shared a love you only read about or see in a movie. Her breast cancer returned and took her July of 2009. I did not know how to deal with the grief. Writing about our experiences has tremendously helped in the healing process. Please take a moment and check out both books if you have lost a very dear loved one and are still suffering from the pain and grief. Along with those topics I have been heavily involved with youth baseball for thirty plus years and have wrote a easy to follow manual for coaching youths.
