About this ebook
In this book you will meet many geezers and geezerettes who are experiencing their entry into geezerhood while finding humor and joy as they cope with major changes in their lives. The people are real as are many of the accounts. However, most of the antics are humorous situations, which fit their circumstances and those personal geezerisms they exhibit on a daily basis. Since the author is a geezer, he has first hand experience with the geezerous behavior, which he and his friends are dealing with. Throughout the book you will find indicators to let you know if you are a geezer or are rapidly approaching geezerhood. If you are a geezer, this book will make you feel good about your geezerous behavior and see how much your fellow geezers are enjoying their retirement and all of the things geezers are doing to have the time of their life.

Dedication
I would like to dedicate this little book to all of the geezers of the world, especially those whom I have known personally and who have made my geezerhood so enjoyable. Although this book pokes fun at us geezers and highlights our limitations and idiosyncrasies, as a whole we are a very happy and well adjusted group.
To younger folks geezerhood represents the final chapter of a persons life and the loss of mental and physical capabilities. For us geezers that realization just makes us appreciate each day more and encourages us to make the most of every minute we have left with all the capabilities we have left. As a result we have more fun and are less inhibited than most of the rest of society. We are no longer trying to impress anyone or have the need to prove ourselves to others or to ourself. We are much more social than we were earlier in life when much of our time and efforts were directed at earning a living and raising a family.
We also contribute to the economy by consuming large quantities of prescription drugs, keeping our hospitals & clinics active, supporting those local merchants who offer early bird specials & coupons, and almost single handedly keeping the vintners of cheap wine fully employed. Lastly, we are always joking about our own geezerisms and find great satisfaction in having survived long enough to be a geezer or geezerette.
Introduction
Many of those in the younger generation are concerned about eating foods which have been genetically altered. This is because they don’t know what this kind of food may do to their body or mind in the future. At this point, there is no long term evidence to tell them what to expect. What they should be worried about is what their body and mind will be like after it has been geriatrically altered. For this phenomenon there are generations of evidence.
My name is Terry Eade. I am 72 years old and I am a geezer. I retired 21 years ago at the age of 51, but I can’t remember what I did before I retired. Whatever it was, I must not have been very good at it, because I’m as poor as a damn church mouse. You see, like many other geezers, I am suffering from CRS, which, for those of you who do not have advanced training in geriatrics, stands for Can’t Remember Shit.
How long a person has been retired is very important, because advancement into geezerhood goes much quicker after you retire. So by knowing the person’s age and how long they have been retired, you can then calculate their geezer quotient. I used to know why that was important, but I forgot.
By keeping this book short and reasonably priced it should appeal
