I am retired and have been working as a legal assistant for many years. My husband and I have two daughters who have given us five grandsons and three great grandsons, so far. Being a grandparent is quite different from being a parent, and I love it. In my spare time, which there is not much of, I enjoy reading and traveling. I also enjoy being a Christian and have been for many years. I have begun writing in my later years with a serious outlook and a desire to help and entertain others. I hope that you find some enjoyment from my efforts, and maybe some help.

DEDICATION
Reverend Alfred James Carey, Jr.
I began writing this book some time ago. I wanted to write it, fine tune it, and have my father-in-law read it before I submitted it to a publisher. Unfortunately and very sadly, he was killed in an automobile accident on September 12, 2006. It was the most tragic thing this family has ever gone through. I never told him about it. I think he would have been so honored to have been able to work with me on this project. I really miss him so much! He was a wonderful, godly man! We are so blessed to have known him, but even more blessed to have been related to him.
This is for you, Alfie.
Love, Frances.

Eleven months after losing my father-in-law, I lost my mother. My father-in-law left a very large void in my life, but losing my mother has changed my life completely. She had such faith in me and was such a support to me. She always knew I had it in me.
Thank you, Mom. I love you.
PROLOGUE
I am not a scholar or trained in theology. I am a normal Christian with a desire to learn as much as possible about God, and to share that knowledge with others. There is a great falling away from the church today. Churches are changing and being a Christian is also changing, as God said it would. I want to encourage people to learn about God and to think about what they need in their life. Learning about God can be overwhelming. It is realizing within yourself that our world as we know it is, or cannot be, all there is. We have a knowledge within us that there is one supreme being who is in control of everything. We realize that this world did not just happen all by itself or as the result of some big bang
theory. In my experience, the result of a big bang will always be destruction and chaos. There is order in this world. We need to realize that it is
