Walking in the Fullness of You... - Xaviera Bell

On January 22, 2013, I was reading Dr. Cindy Trimm’s blog and her words ministered to me in such a marvelous way. She caught my attention by using a topic that I love, the spiritual meaning of numbers. In this reading it stated that the number 13 meant coming of age/fulfillment; this certainly peeked my interest. I just sat and listened to the guidance of the Lord. His direction had me so shaken that I had to cover my face and ask him, Why God, I am not equipped. As the caring Father that he is, he let me know that my call was not based on my credentials; it was based on my ability to hear his direction.

    INTRODUCTION

Walking in the Fullness of You, is a 13 day guide to identifying your purpose and providing you with the direction that you need to walk in your fullest spiritual potential. You will have a daily affirmation that you will say aloud. We recognize that the significance of speaking is to allow our hearts and minds to catch up with our position. Whatever a man thinks so is he; it’s time to change your thoughts. You will also have a daily reading, from both a spiritual and a natural aspect. Finally, you will have a task and assignments to complete, it is imperative that action be applied to what we have learned after each topic.

If you dedicate yourself to this guide for 13 days I promise that God will bless your life with clarity, direction, and boldness. My prayer is that this will be a journey that you will share with others and something that you can refer back to when you feel a hiccup in your journey.

    Day One:

    Identifying Your Purpose

Based on your previous spiritual experience, your spiritual knowledge, and your relationship with God, what do you think your purpose is?

    AFFIRMATION

I will no longer remain in a place of spiritual ignorance. I will actively seek and identify my purpose. After identifying my purpose I will assume my role/my position, for I have been called for a purpose and I shall knowingly walk in my assignment.

    SCRIPTURE REFERENCE

Romans 8:28(KJV): And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

1 John 3:8 (KJV): He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

    DEFINITIONS

Purpose- The object toward which one strives or for which something exists; an aim or goal.

Manifested- To display/show by one’s acts or appearance.

    SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLE

The purpose of our Father is clear, 1 John 3:8 says that the purpose of the Son of God is to destroy the works of the devil. Simple isn’t it. The scripture continues on to say that children of God do not make a practice of sinning and that you can identify who belongs to Satan because he lives a life of sin and doesn’t love his brother (read 1 John 3). Wait a minute, I have to do what? I have to live a life that is sinless AND destroy the evil of the devil by utilizing the love of Jesus. This is not an easy practice is it? In order to be effective you must love the person that hurt you the most, the person that doesn’t like you, the one that molested you, the one that left you, and the one that let you down. When looking at this task it is nearly impossible to love someone that has caused so much detriment to your life. This is because in hurt there is a cause and an effect. The effect of pain lingers, even when you have forgotten the details surrounding the cause.

Knowing the purpose of God and living a life that represents what God has purposed for us places us in a position of authority. When we live a life that is not a direct reflection
