About this ebook

When she was nine, Megan Meade met a group of terrible, mean, Popsicle-goo-covered boys, the sons of her father's friend -- the McGowan boys. Now, seven years later, Megan's army doctor parents are shipping off to Korea and Megan is being sent to live with the little monsters, who are older now and quite different than she remembered them.
Living in a house with seven boys will give Megan, who has never even been kissed, the perfect opportunity to learn everything there is to know about boys. And she'll send all her notes to her best friend, Tracy, in...
Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys
Observation #1: Being an army brat sucks. Except that this is definitely a better alternative to moving to Korea.
Observation #2: Forget evil, laughing, little monsters. These guys have been touched by the Abercrombie gods. They are a blur of toned, suntanned perfection.
Observation #3: I need a lock on my door. STAT.
Observation #4: Three words: six-pack abs.
Observation #5: Do not even get me started on the state of the bathroom. I'm thinking of calling in a hazmat team. Seriously.
Observation #6: These boys know how to make enemies. Big time.
Megan Meade will have to juggle a new school, a new family, a new crush -- on the boy next door, as in next bedroom door -- and a new life. Will she survive the McGowan boys?

this is the Best book I’ve ever read!!!! I definitely recommend it for teenagers I’m a teenager and it’s my favorite book! I really hope she makes a sequel I would die if she did! The only thing I didn’t like about the book was the ending it was kind of crowded to much happening all at once but other than that definitely worth the money!!

This novel is really great and i love how Megan grows as a character through out the book. I love all the McGowan boys especially Finn but the ending was awful and doesn't make much sense. I think it was meant to show how Evan and Finn both liked Megan in the end but i think the auther was trying too hard to be poetic Would definatly still recomend it though. 10/10

I first read Guide to the McGowan boys about five or more years ago, and I still love it now as much as I did then. Even though some of the teenage angst and worries Megan faces sometimes seem rather petty now that I'm older, the romance is light and pleasingly fluffy, and the book is still funny and sweet. I still pick this up now and again for a nice casual read (:

good book, poorly written but the plot was amazing. also bad ending it left us with a lot of unanswered questions and a new problem. really wish there would be a second part. overall the book was a 7/10. I wish the boys personalities were better shown. Megan did improve since the beginning of the book which was good. overall, I wouldn't really recommend for someone who gets frustrated easy. the ending will drive you mad!!!

    This is an amazing book!!
It fills you with happiness when Megan is excited or happy about something; and sadness when Megan is overwhelmed, disappointed or just generally sad.
I think this was a really good book for the fact that it teaches you life lessons.
I think it was really well written when Hailey was crying in the bathroom because no body liked her, and even though she had been really mean to Megan; Megan still helped Hailey and comforted her.
That, I think was true team spirit.
It's a beautiful book, and what makes it even better is its not a storyline you generally find.
It had different aspects of things that you don't see in movies or mostly even books.
I felt it was a great ending for it showed Doug isn't a complete loser, and that he actually cares.
This book is a heartfelt book and I think everybody can benefit from it by reading it!

Correct me if I am wrong any body here :) but I think this book is ah-mazing!

Kate Brian is the Queen of really cute stories that make you all mushy on the inside and smile the whole time. A nice, light, fluffy read; the boys drove Meg crazy with their pranks and by picking on her all day long but she kept her head on her shoulders and knew how to behave and wouldn't let others step on her. She's a kind, sweet and big-hearted girl and her guide was really funny and sometimes very useful!

I really enjoyed this book. I wish this book was longer or had a sequel because I would love to see where the relationships built in this story could go.

That ending was crap, like the weirdest ending I've read in a while. 60% of the way it was all good and went downhill from there. Where's book two?

My teenage sister recommended I read this; so in good form and fashion, I did. While it is written about teenagers, high school students mostly, I would only recommend this book for very mature young people. The sexual content and bad language are over the top. Good plot overall but it is overshadowed by all the junk. Rating - 3 stars due to bad language and sexual content too mature for the recommended reading age

You guys.... This book was SO good. I dead ass skipped 1st & 2nd period bc I couldn't put it down. The plot development is so good & there's so many twists & surprises. But the ENDING! UGH! She NEEDS to do a sequel! It can't end like this! I hate cliffhangers!

The book was great I loved it though I wish it would have talked about when they got home from the airport and the ending was a little to much of a cliff hanger I think if the part about Evan had been left out it would have been better

I read this book in less than a day. It was fantastic! The author's voice was awesome, very teen. And I loved the boys! The only thing I would change is that the ending felt a little rushed. I wanted a bit more resolution, some conversations with the boys (I won't say which boys in particular because I don't want to post spoilers!).

All in all, a really fun read. Going on the favorites list!

I would have given this book 5 stars if it wasn't for the ending. I really did not care at all for the ending. It was rushed and I didn't like the aspect of the partial cliffhanger :(

Megan Meade has grown up as an Army brat following her parents wherever the job takes them. Things are about to change. This time Megan isn't going with them. She is staying with the long time family friends the McGowans. Growing up as an only child has not prepared her for what is next... living with 7 boys. Things are about to get a little more interesting in Megan's life and the McGowan household. I absolutely loved this book! Call me crazy but what teen girl wouldn't wonder what it's like to live with all of those hot guys? This book is filled with teen romance, heartbreak, personal growth, and shows you things aren't always what they seem.
