About this ebook
I'm a philosopher poet, my favorites are Adam Zagajewski, Octavio Paz, Hegel, Zizek. I'm the son of a Roman Catholic Jesuit priest and an Aztec sorceress. I'm a shaman; my teacher was Christina Pratt, so I journey and talk with spirit guides. I'm a scientist, in my little pinky, on my left hand; the rest of me is a grand irrationalist - trained in Zen Buddhism, I invented inspirationally imaginative illimitable invincible irrationality. I talk to the universe, with an altar I call channel 5, a communication channel between heaven and earth and humanity and demonity. And I read alot, and I noticed that even the philosopher poets and the shamans and the scientists didn't have solid answers on some of these things, so I discussed it with my friend the universe, and this is our brief explanation on wakeful individual consciousness, universal consciousness, dreaming, and art.

I am a tiger who escaped from the circus - (escaped from consensual reality) - but got lonely, and returned to the circus with the powers that come from being free to leave. These powers are considered "schizophrenia" in western science, or "shamanism" in my native Aztec culture. There is a fine line dividing sz and shamanism, though, as I see it: the dreamer must control the dream, not the dream the dreamer. And I don't take meds, but I did take seroquel for 4 months, at 600mg a day, way too much, and quit cold turkey, ahd a bad 8-day experience, and I don't mess with that stuff anymore. I don't believe in gravity - I live in a non-ordinary unvierse model. And I am the leader of all matter and energy in the war against time. Abducted by aliens because I asked them to tell me a story, monsters come drawing paradise screens on the air; they were out fishing anyway and I just swam up to the hook. lightning justified, release unknown....

What is Consciousness?
Some people have models of brain/mind that are banal, materialistic, that make science sound like it has reduced consciousness to a machine, just a bunch of predictable reactions working according to plan.
But promissory materialism has failed to explain consciousness; scientific materialism means they were convinced the scientific study of matter in motion would hold the answer to all our questions.
So in this vision consciousness is a divine light, and the brain is a home for the light, a home that can be optimized, and consciousness is a form of light trapped in tubes - the tubes and wells of systems of thought and identity.
