    Billionaire Bruce Wayne rushed through the lobby of his downtown office building Wayne Tower. He pushed the button for the elevator and looked down at his watch. Late again, Bruce mumbled to himself.

    The billionaire was used to being late. His secret identity as Batman, Gotham City’s greatest crime fighter, often kept him from his business duties as the head of Wayne Enterprises. Today was different, though. He had an important meeting with a group of high-ranking military officials.

    The officials were going to demonstrate the prototype of a secret, high-tech weapon. Bruce didn’t want to keep them waiting.
