    INTRODUCTION

When our second son, Michael, was fifteen months old each of his joints began to swell up twice their normal size. He also broke out in a strange rash and could no longer walk or crawl. Doctors diagnosed him with an untreatable muscular/arthritic condition they said if it continued to develop he would never walk again.

We had several people pray for him, including some healing evangelists, but his condition did not improve. Michael was crying all the time and seemed to be in constant pain. As my wife and I sought the Lord He led us to compile a list of several scriptures in three different categories: authority of the believer, the integrity of God's Word, and healing. He directed us to immerse ourselves in His Word by speaking these verses over Michael and to resist the enemy steadfastly with them on a daily basis.

After two months of meditating on these verses of scripture and speaking them over Michael and resisting the devil with them on a daily basis one passage of scripture from the list of seventy verses we had been speaking leapt off the page into our hearts. Those verses are Psalm 119:89-90, Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations...This truth became alive in us that God's faithfulness to perform His Word includes Michael's generation!

Within a month after receiving this revelation Michael's condition began to improve. The swelling in his joints gradually went down. The rash was not as dominant as it once was. One month later he began to crawl again. Four months after this he began to walk. Six months later he was completely whole without any symptom of that dreaded disease. Praise be to God!

After this the Lord directed me to compile other categories of scripture that have the same power to effect change in our lives. That is the purpose for this book. I pray that as you read and meditate on each category of scripture in this book His Word will come alive to you, become life and health to all your flesh (Prov. 4:22), and bear fruit in every area of your life!

Wisdom, grace, and peace to you,

    Greg Mohr
