      I have read all the previous Zom-B books and this is my first audio version. Excellent narrator, excellent story, I can't wait until the next one.

      Best in series so far....Can't wait for the next book!Quick reads. Grabs your attention quickly.

      Had an open mind when starting this. It was recommended by young readers who thought it was......well, they thought it was worth laughing at and looked into see if there were more. A series (to me at least) means a really good hook, brilliant writing or a huge investment in time where someone can't come up with new ideas.
      I think I stepped in a little too late in the journey to full appreciate the series. This isn't a problem as I plan to read the first at some point.
      It is aimed at younger readers, the tone, vocabulary and title all point towards this, so don't expect deep characterisation, meaningful plots or dramatic prose. What it does offer is a simple story with mild peril suitable to for the intended audience who lap it up.

      Buy it for your child, it encourages reading and won't push them too far. It sits somewhere on the challenge chart between Perry Jackson and the Mr Men series of books. Fun and light.
