Reviews for Golden Referrals. 32 Ways to Market Your Natural Therapy Business

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is well thought out and filled with some very good advice. Some advice is more common that the rest, but there are some real jewels in here. But like any self-help book, the results you get will only be as good as the effort(s) you make to produce the results you seek.
This little book was well worth the read.

Golden Referrals:
Get 30+ Clients in Under a Month
One of the main challenges for integrative practitioners is building up their client base. Whether you are a Naturopath, Nutritionist, Homeopath, Acupuncturist, Chiropractor, Massage Therapist, or Holistic Health Specialist, referrals are an essential part of a successful practice.
The question is: how do you get these invaluable clients, especially if you don't have a great deal of time or money to devote to your marketing strategy?
Given that we are advocates for natural or alternative wellness, many of us focus on the personal aspects of our practice, rather than tending to the business side of things. As such, even the most knowledgeable and experienced among us may find it difficult to maintain a profitable and flourishing practice.
Though we may not be in this profession for the money, but to help others achieve positive change in their lives, the health of our business finances is still important. After all, earning a good living will allow us to continue to help our clients in years to come, and getting more clients is the most effective way to achieve this.
In this book you will find 32 golden ways to increase referrals, which you can use to get 30+ clients in under a month. All of these tips, tricks, and marketing techniques are simple, straightforward, and (best of all) budget-friendly. Even if you've never promoted your practice before, or have absolutely no experience in developing a marketing campaign, this guide will give you the know-how that can help your business to thrive!
So, without further ado, let's dive into the first golden referral that will open up the doors of opportunity for your integrative practice.

Golden tip #1:
Building Trust
Trust is an essential ingredient to having a flow of referrals to your business. Without it, no business can survive. You can build and foster this trust by always following through with what you have said you were going to do. If you tell a client that you are going to send them some more information, then be sure to send it to them as soon as possible. If you tell them that you are going to do some research into a particular health concern or a new treatment that may be of use to them, then please do so.
Following through will not only make them feel they are being cared for, but it will also build invaluable trust that is the key to any client referral. They have to be reassured that you are going to do what you say, and that you are willing and able to exhibit integrity and honesty in both your actions and words.
Another important aspect of this that needs to be addressed is keeping appointments and meetings. One of the quickest ways to lose trust with your clients is to habitually cancel appointments at the last minute or, worse yet, miss an appointment altogether. That's why it's so essential to keep an organised schedule book and ALWAYS reschedule appointments well in advance if at all possible. They need to know that they can depend on you and that they can trust in the fact that you will do everything in your power to be, consistent and respectful of their time.
*Activity for Today: Train your staff that each new client coming into your practice should have everything they need. Follow-up after the first appointment with a thank you for joining our clinic
letter. Make sure that a call back time is booked, and that a new appointment is confirmed in advance. Simply put, stress the importance of making your clients feel as though they are well taken care of. If supplements need to be ordered, or
