About this ebook

“You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us. And the world will live as one”, said John Lennon once, and that sort of says it all, about dreams.
Dreams are of two kinds---the kinds which we experience when we are asleep and the ones which we see, with our eyes open. There is little we can do about the ones which occur in our sleep, except to enjoy the pleasant ones, and dislike the nightmares. Unless one is willing to analyze one’s dreams, as these are said to be the windows to our subconscious minds. Those of us, who are interested in the metaphysics of the subconscious minds, would do well to study the dreams we get, get them analyzed and act upon them. It is said that the subconscious mind thinks in pictures, and is usually kept in control by the conscious mind, all day long. But when we sleep and the conscious mind is removed from action, the subconscious mind exerts it actions in various areas of our body, one of them being the projection of its desires, its fantasies, its anxieties, its worries, its fears, its hopes---in the form of dreams. Dreams could hold your key to know what lies deep in your subconscious. And if we knew truly what our subconscious mind holds, we could align our lives to suit that, or else we would often be at loggerheads with the subconscious mind, and that usually brings about discord, distress and disease in our lives.

Apart from the dreams that we see in our sleep, there are those dreams which we see with our eyes open---those are our aspirations, our desires, our ambitions, our future projections, our calling, and our strong purposes. And these dreams are the ones we strive to make our reality, one day. These dreams have power, they give us a fixed target or purpose or goal in our lives, and we should continue to dream every day, so that we can grow, evolve and achieve what our soul and spirit truly desires.
Speaking of Dreams is the sixth book in the series of books titled Speaking of, the others being on love, happiness, fear, giving, and faith. This book contains some amazing quotes on the two varieties of dreams, the ones which we see in the day and those that occur at night. There are 30 quotes, one for each day of the month, and these quotes will make you think, introspect, wonder, plan and will aid you to see our dreams in a new light. Wish you happy dreaming.
