      Detective Pale Rysin is a werewolf, the leader of his pack. Jade-Scarlett is a member of the powerful order of the Sibile (women with strange magical powers), but she is also half-wolf. When she is sent to help Detective Rysin investigate the murders of several young women, sparks fly...in more than one way.There is an instant attraction between the two, but their worlds have been taught to hate each other for years. Will they be able to overcome their prejudices and work together to solve the murders, or will their differences and desires to work alone hinder them leading to only more grisly deaths.I loved this book. The characters were forced to evolve as they learned more about each other and the history that taught them to hate. The interactions between them a perfect and drive the story forward even as the events around them shape who they are becoming.4/5

      TEMPTING THE ENEMY by Dee Tenorio is a paranormal romance/suspense. It is written with detail and depth. It has romance, suspense, shifters, wolves, mystery, sensuality, and passion. It is fast paced, action packed with great characters that are strong and determined. Jade and Pale are faced with challenges, peril, lust, their strength compliment each other which makes them a perfect match. Jade, half wolf, half Sibile her powers are unstable. She has always felt out of place in the Sibile world due partly to the lost of her parents as traitor. She will learns secrets she didn't know existed. With the help of Pale, a true wolf, she will learn to control her powers, where she truly belong and try to protect her life mate, Pale. a wolf, a detective who is wary of Jade because she is a Sibile, is strong, an Alpha wolf, trying to revive the Wolf packs that where all but lost due to genocide years before. He has finally meet his life mate in Jade, but can their strengths, lust and love for each other save them in the end? They are looking for a serial killer of young women, he is killing both Sibiles and wolves, leaving their discarded bodies to be found. Their hearts have been removed and triangles shape left cut out in their bodies. This is a wonderful, amazing story of trust, romance, suspense, finding the truth and learning to live anew. If you enjoy paranormal, with shifters, wolves, and great characters you will enjoy this one. This could possible become a great series.
