    I was born in Lewes, East Sussex in the United Kingdom and educated at Eastbourne College and the University of Warwick. After graduating, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant and persevered with a professional career in London until the economic collapse in 1989, a life-changing event for me, following which I packed my bags and headed for Thailand.In Bangkok, I worked for a while as a fashion model, a television extra, a news presenter for Radio Thailand and a teacher before securing a permanent job in the Bangkok office of an international accounting firm. I loved my new lifestyle so much I stayed for ten years.For most of my time in Bangkok, I lived in King Mansion in Sathorn Road, a rather notorious hotel sandwiched between the Australian Embassy and Alliance Francais. The time I spent in Thailand was the happiest period of my life. It was fun, exciting and the sexual exploits were quite outrageous compared to life back in the UK.I hope my short stories give you a flavour of what I got up to.

      At the age of twenty-six, I'd had enough. Enough of my career, enough of my boss, enough of family pressure to settle and enough of my poxy cramped one-bed flat. Most importantly, I'd had enough of boyfriends who seemed to only care about their own satisfaction. I mean, come on, how many men out there really know how to please a girl? All the English guys I've met, or talked about with girlfriends, think they're doing us girls a favour by giving them a quick shag - a shag, that is, that stops as soon as the bloke's reached his own climax. Well I've been left disappointed too many times; I'm fed up with English guys.

      And another thing, how often do you hear about English guys going overseas for some 'fun'. Why is it socially acceptable for guys to have a sex-holiday? Why do their mates laugh as they boast of their sexual conquests? Guys say they're just having fun. Well, why can't we girls have fun too? I'm ranting. Sorry. Anyway, the point is, I wanted fun. I wanted passion and romance in my life.

      Not only that, I wanted to get away from Lewes. You know what small provincial towns are like, they can be so claustrophobic. All the available guys know all the available girls, and they play a stupid game of pass-the-parcel with us girls until we're married off. Mind you, that doesn't stop some of them, does it?

      So I got to thinking if boys could break away, see the world, set up a bar on a tropical beach, then I didn't see why a girl couldn't do something similar. After
