    Two wonderful children’s stories are featured. In the first, Maria and the Wicked Witch, 6-year-old Maria, tricked by an evil witch, disobeys her parents, enters a forbidden forest and is taken captive. She uses all her wiles to escape from the witch.

    The second, The Three Crayons - Red, Blue and Green - are taken to a Village Fair by their parents Mom Brown Crayon and Dad Yellow Crayon. The three crayons become separated from their parents and are lost. They encounter a magic Wishing Tree which re-unites the family.

      Do Not Go Into The Forest

      Six-year-old Maria and her parents lived in a small cottage near to a forest.

      Each time Maria walked along a lane at the side of the forest to visit her Grandma her parents would tell her, Maria don't you ever, for whatever reason, go into that forest.

      The stern warning was repeated whenever she went to play outside the cottage.

      After a while, Maria would smile and say in reply, "I know, I know
