About this ebook

Aoléon and Gilbert are on the run – with a whole army of Martians on their trail!

Having foiled the Luminon’s plot to disrupt the Martian galact supply, Aoléon and Gilbert join forces with Bizwat – a Procyon commando who poses as a pizza delivery guy, and Helios – a first-generation soldierbot. They flee the Martian megalopolis aboard a flying saucer with the Luminon’s paladin guards in fast pursuit.

Their luck quickly goes from bad to worse. Their saucer is blown out of the sky, and they crash deep in the forbidding Martian desert, more than a thousand miles away from their intended destination.

Battling starvation, thirst, and a Klyklon dust storm (not to mention a giant slor intent on swallowing them whole), will our two intrepid heroes live long enough to reach the secret base where Aoléon’s parents are being held captive?

In part four, the Luminon is finally ready to launch his attack on Gilbert's planet. It is now or never for Gilbert and Aoleon to find a way to put a stop to Luminon's plan or Gilbert's family and the rest of the people on Earth will meet their fate. I really enjoyed this part of the story. This is because I have grown attached to Gilbert and Aoleon and their crazy adventures. So I just can sit back and enjoy reading this book. Also, it was nice to get to see a few new faces with Bizwat, Helios, and Zoot. Well Bizwat is not new as he was introduced in earlier section of the book but he had more of a major part in this section of the story. This part read really fast as there was a lot more action happening. This time Gilbert, Aoleon and the gang left Mars for more danger. While I would have to say that this part is probably one of my favorite parts of the book, I did miss seeing more of the awesome illustrations. They are so colorful and eye-popping. This is saying something as I have been reading this book on my computer. No special effects required for the illustrations. They are out of this world great!Which makes reading this book even better. It is like an experience. Like watching a movie. I can not wait to see how this story all ends in part five.

Aoleon and Gilbert are on a dangerous mission to rescue her parents, a seemingly impossible task. Even Bizwat is discouraged by the difficulty of their undertaking. Their spaceship is blown up and well, you gotta read the rest yourself!

Part four of Aoleon's adventure is by far the goofiest! Here are some of my favourite quotes: "Go ahead. Make my millennium", "we stand an excellent chance of catching the Martians with their cheeks in the wind" and “this guy is not firing on all nanoprocessors.”

There is still loads of adventure and excitement (by the way DON'T pick the flowers in the desert) as well as a fair bit of cheekiness pointed at the, ahem, "powers that be" (it's all in good fun though!). The picture of the White House Situation Room was really cool! There weren't as many pictures in this segment, and some parts of the story were a little hard to grasp because of the technical explanations. But there's a lot to tickle your funny bone!

Gilbert and Aoleon are hot on the trail on the Luminon’s plot to stop Martian Galact production and invade Earth for milk. Now, the Luminon’s guards are chasing Gilbert, Aoleon, Bizwat and soldierbot Helios across the Martian desert. They must all try to survive a dust storm and Martian worms before Aoleon’s parents are killed. Aoleon and Gilbert’s mission turns to real danger in this episode. There is a lot of political and government conspiracy theory and secrets on both the Martian and Earth’s side, one thing we both have in common! Some of my favorite and funniest parts were when the Martian’s went to Earth looking for milk dressed as Quakers and the soldierbot Helios, his defeatist and sarcastic attitude was perfect for defusing tense moments when the gang was in a tight spot. As in the past episodes, the bright, digital pictures add to the story and really help me visualize the different Martians and robots. Aoleon, Gilbert, Bizwat and Helios are left in another precarious situation and I will be looking forward to the next installment. This book was received for free in return for an honest review.

If you think the cover is wildly awesome, wait until you read this book and gaze upon the illustrations. They are something to see. The world is so detailed and the characters leap from the pages in a 3D effect..Illegal Aliens continues the adventure with Aoleon and Gilbert. When last we parted, Aoleon’s parents were imprisoned by the evil Luminon, who are now in pursuit of the two friends when they flee Mars..The Luminon declare war with Earth for the much desired and needed bovines. You need to watch out for the flying cows and their cow pattie bombs!.Right from the first book, it’s hinted that Gilbert might have latent psychic powers and now Gilbert and Aoleon follow Kyrios to be trained on how to use it. The two friends will need to use everything in their bag of tricks in order to rescue Aoleon’s parents and stop the war..I was as engrossed in this book as I was with the other three. As the story moves towards it’s conclusion in Book Five, The Great Pyramid of Cydonia, the intrigue, conspiracy, and danger mount for Martians and Terrans (humans).. .This is a wonderful series. The world building, through words and illustrations, is amazing. Aoleon and Gilbert continue to mature and forge an ever tighter bond of friendship. The conspiracies and dastardly villains continue to plot. And the zany adventures thrill you and lift your heart..I feel all ages will love this series and can’t recommend it enough.

    First things first, that cover!
I love the look on the face of the cow, or rather cows as in plural because it's not just one bovine flying through the air like an acrobat without a net. As funny as the expressions are though, you know they can't help it. I mean, YOU'D have a similar facial displacement if you all of a sudden were being abducted while minding your own business in the middle of a field. Gosh...how RUDE!

Secondly, we've still got to talk about those illustrations because as creatively fun as the cover is, the full cover vividness carries over to the interior spreads as well. There didn't seem to be as many this time around (could have just been my impression though) but that didn't make them any less impact making. Most memorable to me? The sand-eel. *shudders*

Third times the charm, or rather next on my list of things to mention is the story itself. Aoleon, Gilbert, and Bizwat (and Zoot!) are back and running for their lives as the powers that be pursue them to the ends of the galaxy. Okay, so they SHOULD be running for their lives but in actuality they are headed right into the danger zone as they try to rescue Aoleon's family...and then try to stop the invasion of Earth. Gadzooks! Do they have it in them to face the dangers ahead? Will this band of little rebels be able to see it through? With the strength they find in themselves, and each other, they are surely on their way. The newest addition to their group is Helios, a first generation soldierbot with a sense of humor. No, he wasn't programmed that way and yet he is the way he is. No doubt he will garner a following of fans all his own.

So, in conclusion, we've survived another trip to the far reaches of the galaxy with laughs, gasps, and danger most unpleasant. The writing is consistent as is the world building, so those that take delight from the science fiction details will have much to celebrate. Can't wait to see how it all winds down ...

Aoleon The Martian Girl: Science Fiction Saga - Part 4 by Brent LeVasseur Once again, Aoléon and Gilbert are on the run again. They need Bizwat to help. They want to save Aoléon's parents. They seem to escape the from a soldierbot. There seem to be quite a few things going on at Mars and planet Earth.

What a mission they go about. Their spaceship get blistered and they land somewhere in Mars desert. The pictures are wonderful. They are down well as of again. This book is wonderul more action paced then anything.

How will they survive the desert? Will make it to their destination and save Aoléon parents. They do meet an old man. I wonder what he wanted. Is book goes more into Invasion on Earth. We also see the President of the United States again and his company in a meeting. What could they want? Will they case a war or will they sit back and wait.

Want to read the other part of this series. Well here you go. Part 1, Part 2 , Part 3 All of them are good for boys and girls.

CHAPTER THIRTEEN

SECRET MARTIAN BASE / EXACT LOCATION UNKNOWN / PLANET MARS

Phobos sat alone in her cell. In the dark corner, she watched a Martian rock rodent scurry about. She fed it a piece of her dinner.

The food is pretty bad, eh my little friend? Phobos said, talking to the tiny rodent whose bulbous body jiggled as it ate. The rodent gazed up at her with bulging eyes.

Phobos’s cell was spartan and empty. There was no furniture whatsoever. Not even a bed to lie on. But, it was clean. Phobos sat hunched and cross-legged on the hard floor with her back against the wall. In front of her, a force field barrier blocked the only exit to the hallway. To her right, another force field separated her cell from the one next to it. In that cell, sat another prisoner whom she could hear breathing and occasionally mumbling to himself, but she could not see him. Across the hallway, but also out of view, sat Deimos.

Can you help me, little guy? queried Phobos, speaking to the rodent. I need to escape somehow, she said. As you can plainly see, the food here is horrible, and the accommodations are even worse. The rodent looked up at her but said nothing. And she didn’t expect an answer, which is why she was startled when one came anyway.

Escape you say? Try that and it just might ruin your day! The other prisoner revealed himself by leaning around the corner of the wall that partially separated the two cells.

Hunh? grunted Phobos, shocked that someone had been listening.

That’s fraternization with the outside world! If all of these prisoners could just move about freely like that, it could spread. Noncompliance oozing through the hive mind, seeping into the collective conscious of the Xiocrom network and into all those poor, subservient drones, infecting them! You know...free thinkers everywhere, spreading chaos and disorder! If everyone in here could just commingle freely, pretty soon the Luminon and the Xiocrom would lose their power. And they wouldn’t want that, now would they?...No!

The prisoner motioned for her to come closer and spoke in hushed tones. Phobos moved closer, holding the rock rodent while gently stroking him. The Martian rock rodent gazed up at her with his large black eyes and blinked.

You’re here because, like me, you’re a threat...to them! the other prisoner exclaimed.

I am nothing but a simple housewife. I have done nothing wrong, Phobos retorted. The government would never be interested in me.

He gave her a crazy-eyed smirk and diverted his eyes upward, motioning for Phobos to follow his gaze. He pointed toward the holokron high up on their cell wall. Phobos, still in a bit of a shock, shrugged, unsure of what to say.

You’re not just a housewife, he said. Oh no! Gesticulating heavily, the prisoner continued to rant. "You see...everything is automated. Drones and bots manufacture and repair pretty much everything. So what are we here for then? What are we really?"

Phobos managed another shrug but didn’t say anything.

We are consumers. We buy stuff! Galact-makers, new saucers, artificially intelligent nose pickers, holographic entertainment systems with telepathic transceivers, omnitools—.

Phobos smiled, trying not to laugh.

If you do not speak out against the Luminon, then you are a good Martian. But if you are not productive, or you do not consume mass quantities, or if you think the wrong thoughts...you know what? You’re discarded as a Feeb!

Ahh, I see, Phobos said, trying hard to think of something appeasing to say that would get him to stop talking.

"Do you know why I am here? You see, like you, I haven’t actually done anything either! The watchers telepathically scanned my brain, created a computer model of my mind, and fed it into the Xiocrom, which determined that in approximately ten gigacycles from now, I would become a threat to society and a danger to myself. They claim to know everything I am going to do or think long before I
