Bruce Goldstone
Bruce Goldstone is the author of several books, including Wonderful Winter, Awesome Autumn, I See a Pattern Here, That's a Possibility!, 100 Ways to Celebrate 100 Days, Great Estimations, Greater Estimations and The Beastly Feast. He has worked in educational publishing for nearly twenty years. Growing up in Ohio, Bruce fell in love with reading and the magic of words, and even back then he knew he wanted to be a writer. Books have always been an important part of his life, from buying used paperbacks to his first job, shelving books as a library page. He now lives in New York City with a plethora of pets including one dog, three parakeets, and an aquarium.

Subjects include why and how leaves turn colors and fall, what happens in the night sky, and the weather, autumn activities and clothing. It is perfect for curious children because each subject is broken down and clearly defined in simple, kid friendly language. Teachers, parents, and caregivers will appreciate the authors judicious choices for vocabulary words (eg deciduous trees). Awesome Autumn is an excellent choice for simple craft ideas and pairs well with fiction books for early literacy story times.
