      Cecil is back again with this clever tale of two unlikely friends- the Horsefly and the Honeybee. These two have a rough start but are forced to work together when the hungry Bullfrog begins to capture both of them! They soon learn that in order to escape, they must team up and work together. The importance of teamwork and the many rewards of sharing are all outlined in this tale, just adding to the joy of it. Cecil’s adorable artwork captures the essence of this escapade which will attract the attention of any child. “Horsefly and Honeybee” is one of over 20 children’s stories that Cecil has had the opportunity to illustrate for. He has also had the chance to write over have of these stories, this specific book being one of them. His simple storyline is totally relatable to children everywhere and will soon become a favorite.

      The story narrates the fight between a horsefly and a honeybee that loose one wing each and almost got eaten by a frog. But they decide to embrace one another and are able to fly away and scape they decide to stick together and share their lives.
