      The air was cool and the very familiar scent of lilac and vanilla wafted into his nostrils. She was so beautiful as she twirled and danced before him. He couldn't help by being trans fixed by her beauty; it was normally him who was the object of transfixiation. This bloodline always had this effect on him, ever since Angela first captured his heart way back in the 13th century. Her scarfs twirl and seemed to take a life of its own, as it twirled and danced in the cool summer breeze. The sand under their feet and the relaxing sounds of the rolling waves on the ocean made for the perfect afternoon spent with the perfect girl.

      He knew it was fate that he always found the descendants of the Rousseau bloodline. No matter where he ended up in history, he always found them; Coralline, Sophia, Katrina, and Grace and now Margareta. He knew that there was a great chance that this could be the one. The one who would give him her whole heart and fall in love with him. The one he could finally turn and spend the rest of his life with. It had been so long since his Angela had fallen. The pain had been so fierce that he had almost fallen on a stake just so he could be with her again. The only thing that kept him from that was fear of the unknown. Where do Vampires go when they die? There were no books on it and since no vampire has come back from the dead, it has remained a mystery throughout the species many millennia of existence.
