    She had gone through a lot, losing her husband before and then losing most of her possessions in a fire. She started over and managed to get settled. Now her children were off to college and she was searching for the perfect companion. She was not having much luck. She had just about given up when she had a reconnection with someone. They didn't really know each other but they had briefly met at the fire that had destroyed her apartment and they met again at a house on her street that had caught fire. Read as the story unfolds to show how she discovers that love is not where you expect it to be.

      I am unclear if a middle school tween wrote this or if an adult wrote it but English is not their first language. A whole paragraph where each sentence starts with “She”. There are missing words and letters.... I tried to hang in for some steamy scenes but finally realized they would be written just as amateurish as the rest. Sorry. Glad you are living your dream as a self published author but, no... just, no.

      Lost interest about halfway through; series goes on too long; all action, little character development. Will not read book 4.

      Actually, I only got part way into it. I didn't have all the books to start, read the first two & was confused reading this one - so confused I put it down. I'll reread the first two at some point & then finish the series. My wife read them all in order & agreed this one was confusing, too. Not a good one to break on. The story line wobbles around a lot. Not a bad series, though.
