      INTRODUCTION

      Summer is officially over but the weather is still nice and sunny for many of us, so we all want to just kick back and enjoy it instead of slaving over a hot stove. Sadly, if it’s your turn to entertain for friends while they drink you out of house and home, you may think you won’t be that lucky to top up your tan beforehand because you will be stuck in the sauna (that is the kitchen) working up a sweat! Think again! We have fast to-die-for dishes that can be banged together in less than twenty minutes so you can join in with the summer sun fun. Good times!

      The recipes are easy, fast and impressive, or as Joey Essex would say, Reem! This eBook will be your Vogue for summer entertaining, delivering food with a twist that doesn’t break the bank so you can still afford that Victoria Beckham Liberty bag you have been eyeing up while strutting your stuff and flipping your hair around your city centre like Kendall Jenner, or if you’re a guy, flexing your gym-ready body while gazing out through your Gucci® Aviators.

      Another feature of our eBook is the best shopping apps. Paper was so last year, so get rid of the scrap bits of paper and help save a tree. We have listed a couple of well developed apps that are easy to navigate and have some pretty impressive features. Some features are basically useless; for instance, I’m not sure why you would want to build your shopping list into a colour chart, but other features are simply Einstein, such as sync your shopping lists, manage several shopping lists – yes, so you can have one for cosmetics, another for your food and yet another for clothes shopping; I told you some features were Einstein. You can share by email (perfect if you’re running late and you need your partner to get running shoes on before your guests arrive) and calculate the total amount of your list. We all use plastic nowadays and often overspend because we have forgotten to check the prices as we go along, so using the shopping list ‘Calculate It’ will give you the price so you can budget your hard earned dough better.

      Another section of the eBook is to help you create the perfect evening of entertaining – if that’s your thing, that is. Ok, you live in a 4 x 4 flat with hardly any room to swing a cat, never mind fit your mates in. Well, we have a couple of simple ideas that will give you the upper hand when entertaining. Who needs a Jacuzzi to have fun? Combining the food element we have also created some easy cosmetics which you can make at home from your left-over produce. They are a great alternative remedy for those pesky spots we all get after partying hard over a weekend and drying out our skin, and best of all they won’t cost anywhere near as much as they would if you purchased them in Lush. They won’t smell as desirable as in-store cosmetics, but one thing for sure is they will not have as many man-made chemicals in them.
