Hell hath no fury....
Rick takes Dave on a weekend trip to an idyllic spot in Western Kentucky, a recently acquired vacation spot with rustic cottages by a nearby lake. A place to relax from Dave's break up with Elyssa and to just get away from work. To hike. Swim. And make love. Rick is off for a business trip in Russia and needs the time to encourage his friend and part time lover to find someone else to care for. The weekend is perfect but doesn't end that way.
Rick is arrested at the airport by the FBI on charges of trafficking in child pornography, violating the Mann Act, and international child pornography trafficking. Dave believes Rick is innocent and wrongfully accused but how to prove it. Enter Valerie Spenser Esq, Rick's lawyer. The tall voluptuous woman enlists Dave's participation to help her find the evidence that will free Rick. There's instant heat between them, and spending time with the sexy lady lawyer might just live up to Rick's request.

About the author
Chapter One
––––––––
The passage of time can be a tricky thing. An hour, a day, a week can all feel the same when you’re in the middle of something huge. You never really know until later what a shit storm it was. Or how something incredible can grow out of that storm. You never know what you have in your hand, what’s really precious, until that time has passed by. Even then, it’s not always obvious. I thought I knew at the time.
I was home from Greece; life was going to go on as usual. Elyssa was gone—and with nothing to indicate the contrary, for good—and I had a company to run. Me, David Johnson, personal attaché to multi-millionaire mogul J. R. Rickman, arranging his life and businesses, and he’d gone and made me president of my own company. Under the umbrella of Rickman Enterprises, of course, but mine to run.
I still continued to do my usual work for Rick. He had a trip coming up, heading off to Moscow to look over a company that was just about dead on its proverbial feet. I was busy setting up our flight reservations, hotel accommodations, and summarizing a shit ton of paperwork into a readable document that would tell him everything he needed to know. I didn’t have time to think of her; I was too busy thinking of him.
Sometimes I didn’t understand my boss, my friend, my occasional lover. I mean, sometimes I felt like I knew him inside and out. Other times, I felt like he was a total stranger. He was a total chick magnet. Tall, broad shouldered, slim hipped; he was the man every woman drooled over. The fact that he was rich as hell made him all the more attractive. But it was more than that; he loved women in a way that they couldn’t resist. He didn’t just love them; he practically idolized them. It didn’t matter what they looked like, although he was partial to the blonde, Nordic types with big tits and nice plump asses. He loved women.
But he was also my lover—on and off. And that was the part that confused me. Not just about him but about myself. I loved women too, I mean really loved them. I didn’t have a thing for men. I’d never wanted to fuck a man, never. I mean, where I come from (that small town of Blue Lick, Kentucky—population twenty-three hundred and forty-seven souls—out in the upper part of the Smokey Mountains), that sort of thing just wasn’t talked about, let alone accepted. It was one man and one woman, and the sex was...well, maybe it wasn’t exotic but it was normal.
Rick came along and in a very short time, changed all of that. He taught me how to be urbane, how to open up to the new possibilities of life. He taught me how to speak and act as a gentleman, how to dress as a gentleman. He stopped being my boss about twenty-four hours or so after he hired me. He became my mentor and my friend. Then, we took that fateful trip to Taipei and even that changed. We took a drive to the sex mall, took that steamy sauna alone, and took the step across a threshold that I had never planned to take in my life.
I asked him about that once, kidding around really. You know, one of those questions that I just tossed out as a joke. You sleep with all of your assistants? Hell of a job perk.
He looked at me, surprised at first, with his eyes wide open and his mouth working, like he wanted to say something but he wasn’t sure how to say it. He chewed on it for a few seconds, the surprised look going away and another one taking its place. I wasn’t sure if I’d given him something to think about or if I’d just insulted him. Then the sweet smile lit up his face, the one that made every woman on the planet want to bone him until he was just a greasy spot on the pillow.
Dave,
he said. I never wanted to sleep with my assistants. I paid them to do a job, not fuck the boss.
I wanted to ask ‘why me, then?’ but he changed the subject and I never got the chance. When we’d finished the day’s work, he was off with Gisele and banging her in the pool. I had gone upstairs to do the same thing to Elyssa in the shower. We never touched each other, never looked at each other that way in the mansion. His rule, not mine. I just thought it had more to do with the women not knowing and I left it at that. For me, it was keeping a part of myself private and only mine. Either way, I didn’t quite understand what it was that made him approach me that day.
What I also didn’t understand was why I kept going back for more. We took our business trips and the ones we took together were normally without the women. The part that was just mine again. The trips that we finished our business and took an extra day or two to find a new level of depravity and hedonism. To find some place that we could be alone in, to explore each other’s bodies and revel in the sexual aspect of our relationship.
I was looking forward to this trip to Russia. I’d done a little digging with a group online and found a small place outside of Kiev that would do just the right trick for us. Not completely like the Taipei sex mall, but certainly a place for fetishists and those who wanted their sex a lot less vanilla. I was going to surprise Rick with the place. But he ended up surprising me—especially when I realized what day it was.
He closed the lid of his laptop and stared at me over the desk. Dave? Time to close up shop.
I stared stupidly at him, not sure what the hell he was talking about at first.
I’m leaving on Sunday?
he said, as if talking to a child.
What? That’s a few days away.
Wasn’t it? I thought to myself.
He chuckled, his chest resonating with the sound of it. Try day after tomorrow, man.
No!
I stuck the cursor down on the time indicator on the screen and sure enough, the date popped up along with the confirmation of what day it really was—Friday. What the fuck? Where did the week go?
It was nice to make him laugh; he had a great laugh. It was a cross between the purr of a kitten and the growl of an animal in heat. His laugh never failed to make
