STEP 1: WHY ONLINE BUSINESSES?

I want to mention some reasons that can determine you to start an online business:

There is much to be said about what you must do to have a successful online business, but unfortunately, it is hard to find someone to teach you the exact steps and then to ask him to follow you to make sure you achieved that. There are many websites which present the information with very technical terms, hard to be comprehended. Unfortunately, the wrong idea that you must be an expert to be able to start an online business is misleading many people. These mental barriers that they are building by themselves are making them to quit even before starting. You only need to have some base knowledge about sending an email, internet surfing and how to write a document and save it. You don’t need to know Html, Java, Php, Sql and other scripting and web design languages. There are many people which can help you build a website for a good price.

The good news is that I can show you a system that you can implement very easy. But, of course, it will require some work and focus in the beginning, but the results will over reward your effort. The system consists of some easy steps but with maximum effects. And the best news is that I’ll share it with you in the next pages.

STEP 2: WHAT SHALL YOU SELL?

On internet, you can sell anything as long as you have a marketplace, as long as you have enough people interested in what you are selling. Many people are making the mistake to first build the product and then to search a marketplace. Others sell everything for everybody, they spend a lot of money on online malls, but don’t wonder if there is demand for those products. The expenses of such a website are very high and proportional with the risk. You can have fantastic results with a simple website whose scope is to sell a product which addresses to a niche market. What is a niche market? To sell products on a niche market, the market must fulfill 4 conditions:

1. There must be enough people in the niche market

2. The people must have enough money to buy the product

3. The people must be easy to find and reach

4. There must be a small supply of similar products on internet

Ok, so how do you find a niche market? There are many ways for finding a niche market. Let’s see how we can find one.

1. Use keywords

There are some websites which can help you to find how many times a specific word has been searched during a month. These websites are extraordinary tools because it is obvious that if a word has been accessed for many times, there is a high chance to exits a niche market for that. The sites that can determine the size of a marketplace and which offer also some tools for suggesting keywords and expressions are:

- Google keyword planner: https://adwords.google.com/KeywordPlanner - you need a gmail address to access the adwords account, then you can consult the trend of searches for a specific word

- Wordtracker: http://www.wordtracker.com

- Ask.com: http://www.ask.com – write a word and you will get alternative expressions using that word

You will be able to easily find how many times a particular term is searched on web during a month. 

For example, the word cat has over 2 million searches in a month. This shows that it can be a potential niche market. You will see that this can offer you access to an international market. You could ask But what can I sell on this market? I don’t know too much about cats...?

The good news is that you don’t need to know anything about cats. There are a lot of people which are keen on cats and for a small amount of money can write an e-book about How to pet a cat for example.

2. Follow forums

There are many topics that attract many visits and answers. For example on forum

http://www.helpfulgardener.com/forum/ I found many topics about growing tomatoes. It is very clear that this one is a hot subject. And because information is the best sold item on internet, you only have to find a gardener to write an electronic book and to promote it using the method below.

3. Follow magazines for a specific topic
