      Hey, there! Just a heads-up that you are reading an extended and revised edition of Deceiving Derek. The original story did not include an epilogue.

      As a result, the new ending of Deceiving Derek occurs during the timeframe of Before Brady, Book 3 in the 5-book series.

      All five stories take place over a two-week period leading up to a wedding (if it happens…)

      If you wanna know how and why this all came about, it’s because Deceiving Derek first saw life as a standalone story for a publisher’s website. I quickly realized several characters introduced in Lacey and Derek’s story deserved their own happy endings, and I really wanted to write those books.

      The state of the publishing world at the time and some life setbacks got in the way, and I needed to move on to other projects. But I yearned to finish Love & Other Calamities for my understanding and patient readers—and now I have!

      I’ve put a date at the beginning of each book if you want to track when each story in the series starts.

      Each story in the series features a different hero and heroine. The books can be read on their own, but, for maximum fun, read Love & Other Calamities in order.
