    COLD OPENING

    FADE IN:

    EXT. Alley - night

    CONRAD RUSH, a tiny fifteen-year-old boy with shaggy hair is in a superhero costume.

    BILLY BUCKLE who's the tall bully type and his CREW have Conrad backed into an alley.

    They inch closer and closer, but out of nowhere, MR. RUSH jumps down from the rooftops, and stands between his son, and the bullies.

    Mr. Rush is a taller more handsome man with slick black hair, but you can't tell in this scene because he also sports a superhero costume.

    Mr. Rush

    You boys better get out of here, before we make you.

    The bullies begin to back away.

    Billy

    We'll just get 'em when his dad's not around.

    FADE OUT.

    END OF COLD OPENING

    ACT I

    FADE IN:

    INT. Conrad's bedrooom - day

    Conrad's asleep in his bed when MRS. RUSH, his mom, walks in.

    Mrs. Rush is a slightly overweight women who still manages to be attractive.

    Mrs. Rush

    Conrad, what are you doing? It's time for school.

    Conrad

    I don't want to go today.

    MRS. RUSH

    You have to.

    Conrad

    Why?
