Refocus Your Perspective: The Insiders Guide to Living a Happier, More Satisfied, God-filled Life
()
About this ebook
Isn't it amazing that the way we see ourselves can often be totally different from God's perspective of us? What's more amazing is that our perspective and our outlook on life, is what shapes the types of experiences we have while we're alive. And because of this fact, it is difficult to live beyond what we see and believe about ourselves and our lives.
So, the question is, what should you be looking at or focusing on?
Well, that all depends on what we want to get a perspective of – and in this case, you want a better perspective of your life; and not just an ordinary outlook either, but what you want is something that you can cling to; you want something that is stable, even in unstable times; what you want is a God- released perspective or outlook for your life.
When you have Godly perspective in your life, it comes with the ability to see and understand the real difference between good and best. Many times we settle for good, when God really wants us to have the best.
In this book, Conrad L Jones walks you through proven Biblical steps for attracting and walking in God's best for your life using fresh real life lessons, insightful biblical character examples, and an easy to read and understand writing style filled with engaging stories that show you clearly how to attract God's best in your own life - starting today!

INSTANT IMPRESSIONS
(A PERSONAL NOTE)
FOR AS LONG AS I CAN remember, I’ve always had a love for reading good stories.
I remember as a kid, sitting under the huge almond tree in our backyard, feeling the warm summer breeze blowing on my face as my mind journeyed to distant lands, captured in stories of King Arthur and his knights, Zeus and other mythological gods, Aesop’s fables, and many illustrated Bible stories.
One day I’d be sitting on Mount Olympus watching Hercules tackle his twelve (12) mammoth tasks, the next day I’d be sitting alongside Joseph in his Egyptian prison cell, wondering how the promise of greatness from a loving God, could take someone through such colorful betrayal and painful experiences.
Those simple storybook lessons coupled with my personal life experiences of success, triumphs, failures, and frustrations – along with the lessons taught me by mentors, friends, and other caring persons I’ve had the privilege to connect with, have allowed me to unlock my imagination and creativity, and explore what is truly possible to those who can believe...(including you!)
As you read what I’ve passionately written, please let me know how I’m doing.
Please leave an honest review wherever you got the book – I’d really appreciate it!
One last thing! We spent many hours writing REFOCUS
, and many more editing - and
re-editing. We also hired an editor to catch yet more typos. However, given our budget and time constraints (along with the inevitable last minute changes), you may run across a few mistakes we missed. We hope they are minor and infrequent and none of them diminish the power of this writing for you. If you find any errors, and have a few minutes, please email me and let us know so we can make corrections in future editions. Thanks for reading,
THE INTRODUCTION
The noise of the children's playful laughter grew increasingly louder, until they could feel the rush of energy and excitement in the air flowing from the small group of village kids, who had found something fascinating enough, to grab and keep their attention for longer than the average fifty-one seconds.
Just hearing those warm giggling tones of the children's happy voices, made Scott suddenly erupt into a hearty belly laugh, which softly began filling him with a sense of thankfulness. And boy, did he ever need a good laugh today – he, like the others, were struggling again with those feelings of silent loneliness; wave after wave of frustration that constantly washed over them because they were somehow trapped in sea of endless night.
As his thoughts began to return to his childhood days, they were suddenly interrupted by what felt like a small earthquake. An earthquake, out here, in this tiny seaside village?
he exclaimed as he turned with a shocked expression to his five friends. But before anyone could answer, "boom, boom, boom, boom", came four more mini earthquakes, jolting them all off the wooden rickety bench, where they sat each afternoon.
What was that?
shouted Phil, in his usual panicky high pitched nasal voice that the others had become accustomed to, since he seemed to be terrified of almost everything these days.
Calm down boys, it's just an elephant!
The six men recognized the voice as belonging to their old friend and confidant, Father Leon, the village priest. He was someone they had come to respect, as he had opened their minds to so many new things in this world by reading stories to them and the village kids, every Friday afternoon. Since there were very few people in the village who could read, this was always a welcomed treat.
What is an elephant?
asked Jeff anxiously. Come here boys, hold onto my shoulder, and I'll lead you over so you can find out for yourself, replied Father Leon. With that, Scott, put his hand on Father Leon's shoulder, Paul, James, Phil, Jeff, and Steve, each put their hands on each others' shoulder as they formed a single line behind the priest.
Father Leon led the six blind men to the elephant, but wanting them to each experience something different because he could hear each of their perspectives on what an elephant was, he lead each of them to a different part of the creature.
Scott was the first to lay his hands on the elephant. This feels like a hard, roughly cut pillar
he exclaimed as he ran his hands up and down the elephant's thick strong leg.
Oh, no, that's where you're wrong
responded Paul, this elephant is like a tightly woven leather rope,
he replied describing the elephant's tail.
