      Captain Li Shang became the savior of China thanks to the help of Mulan. Realizing how much he loved her, the great general asked Mulan for her hand in marriage. They happily married.

      The great general dreamt of having a son to carry on the family tradition as the protector of China. Their firstborn child was a daughter. The great general was very disappointed. Mulan was also sad for her husband. But the child was very beautiful and they quickly forgot their disappointment. They named her Lilly.

      They tried again and had another girl. Mei-Mei was her name. The general was very disappointed again. Other generals laughed, saying General Li Shang was weak in comparison to Mulan, so he had weak children. Mei-Mei was beautiful, but also very smart and
