      Chapter 1

      I can't believe we actually did it!

      Ethan's words surged through Chelsea's entire body.  They had done it.  They'd exposed Slade Stirling for the lying, cheating, sack of crap that he was. 

      I just wish the Sharks had some balls, Chelsea said.  They're afraid to cut ties with their billion-dollar superstar.

      Forget about the Sharks, Ethan said as he started to massage Chelsea's shoulders.  They'll come around soon.  The league isn't going to let them protect Slade for long.  Not after they investigate and see that our article was spot-on.

      We did do a good job, didn't we? Chelsea smiled. 

      She could feel her muscles loosening under Ethan's strong hands.  It had been a stressful day—full of ups and downs—and somehow, he knew right where to rub to make everything feel better.

      We make a darn good team, Ethan said with a smile of his own.

      We sure do, she said before leaning back and kissing him.

      We should celebrate, he mumbled as their lips raced around each other.

      Chelsea started unbuttoning his shirt.  That's exactly what I was thinking, she whispered.

      He ran his fingers through her hair.  His touch was electric.  Every spot he rubbed shivered, and every shiver sent a tingle in between her legs.  She was exhausted from getting the Slade story ready for this morning's paper—not to mention all of the drama that had come right after it was published—but she had more than enough energy to take Ethan into her bed and do very naughty things to him.
