About this ebook

Raids leave Fort Lion, the once beautiful city in the Mountains, in shambles. A young girl, Faustine, hides alone in her parents' magnificent manor. Forced to fend for herself in the evacuated city, Faustine prepares for the bitter cold as she leaves her house in search of help. She walks through the desolate streets, unknowing of what unusual and somewhat magical events she will experience while facing some of her worst fears. Haunted by ghostly images appearing in the icy winds, she begins to discover family secrets surrounding her father and his mysterious life. With no technology, family, or friends, will Faustine overcome her fear? Can her faith sustain her through the seemingly unending solitude? Read this exciting new adventure to find out.
